This Cookie Policy explains how Investline ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on investline.io and in the Investline mobile app. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as that you are signed in or which language you chose. Similar technologies, such as content loaded from another company's server, are covered by this policy too.

2. How we use cookies

We group cookies into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary: needed for the site to work and to keep your account secure: signing in, remembering your language, applying a referral link you opened and remembering your cookie choices. These are always on and do not need your consent.
  • Analytics: help us understand how pages are used so we can improve the site. We do not use any analytics service at the moment. If we add one, it will be listed below and will only run if you allow analytics.
  • Maps and 3D tours: content from other companies shown on property pages: maps from OpenStreetMap and 3D walkthroughs from Matterport. When they load, these companies receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Maps load only if you allow this category or press "Show map"; a 3D tour loads only when you press "Start 3D tour".

We do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell information collected through cookies.

3. The cookies we use

    Strictly necessary

    Keeps you signed in to your account. Holds a random token only; it cannot be read by scripts.

    Duration: 30 days, or until you log out

  • il_consentInvestline

    Strictly necessary

    Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask on every page.

    Duration: 12 months

  • il_langInvestline

    Strictly necessary

    Remembers the language you chose (English, Arabic or Kurdish).

    Duration: 12 months

    Strictly necessary

    Applies the referral discount from a referral link you opened.

    Duration: Until you close the browser

  • MapOpenStreetMap

    Maps and 3D tours

    Shows the property's location on a map. OpenStreetMap receives your IP address when the map loads.

  • 3D tourMatterport

    Maps and 3D tours

    Plays the 3D walkthrough of a property when you start it. Matterport may set its own cookies.

    Duration: Set by Matterport

4. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works either way. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in.

5. The Investline app

The Investline app shows this website inside the app. It uses the same cookies and the same choices, and you can change them from Cookie settings in the app.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy and the date above when the cookies we use change. If we add a new optional category, we will ask for your choice again.
